Position Summary: Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Manager, QA Test Design Engineer to Design and develop technical solutions of quality assurance standards for software applications. Duties include: define and implement engineering priorities with business partners; analyze and report quality performance measurements including defect density, defect leakage, quality assurance efficiency, and quality assurance team performance factors; construct quality dashboards and management reports; implement measures and metrics to demonstrate value for new quality initiatives; evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure highest-quality software platform; collaborate with peers, end users, and stakeholders to produce cutting-edge software solutions; develop, implement, and test strategies and plans for complex manual test efforts and gain approval from project stakeholders; develop and execute test cases with accountability for quality outcomes for assigned projects; implement and execute test data to meet project objectives; develop test activities and artifacts for projects in test; perform functional quality testing and systems development lifecycles; perform Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies; improve test processes, Unix and Windows environments; and coordinate defect review meetings. Multiple positions. - Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology, Technology Management, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Software quality analysis testing; Server-side test planning and deep-dive testing; Preparation and execution of test script using Selenium, Jira Firebug Tool, TestNG, or Maven; Web technologies including HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON; Programming Languages: Java; Test Automation (QTP and SOAP UI); SQL and relational database concepts; Web Services and API testing; Jira and Junit; and Mercury/HP tools Quality Center, Quick Test Pro, and Unix/Linux. Pay Range: $115,000/year - $230,000/year
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
