Position SummaryAetna Better Health of IL MMAI is a MMP that contracts with the State of Illinois and CMS to serve dually eligible individuals. We are seeking a Sr. Manager to oversee our local provider relations and community outreach staff as well as support overall market performance and growth by collaborating with key enterprise, market, and segment leadership.
To be successful in this position, the candidate must have demonstrated experience in Medicaid and Medicare, developing dual (specifically DSNP) growth strategies, in managing performance, state strategy, regulatory requirements, and teams of field-based staff. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrixed organization and proven success in such an environment.
Required Qualifications
At least 5 years of leadership experience managing diverse teams
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others at all levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid program requirements
Some operational background within a health plan environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Candidates must be located in Illinois
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading community outreach or provider facing teams
Experience working and communicating with providers
Proficient in Microsoft Office STE, One Note & Teams
Experience working in a heavily matrixed environment
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a closely related field or an equivalent combination of formal education and recent, related experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$79,200.00 - $170,800.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
