*This role is classified as hybrid meaning you must work in the office 3 days per week. The candidate must live close to our Scottsdale, AZ or Irving, TX HUB location.

Position Summary

CVS Health has an exciting opportunity to join our PBM Finance Systems Improvement team as Senior Analyst. The Systems Improvement team manages a variety of cross-functional strategic and operational initiatives including but not limited to the ongoing strategic enhancements of finance systems, cross-functional, regulatory, compliance-related system enhancements, and new product implementations. You will be responsible for defining project Roadmaps, Scope, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria in coordination with all business partners, stakeholders, and IT project management teams. You will participate in code reviews for the respective financial platforms the team supports, execute User Acceptance Testing, and maintain excellent documentation of all work. The candidate will have a technical background with experience in SDLC & Agile/Scrum methodologies, harness the ability to independently execute business process validation, and possess strong analytical problem-solving skills to support medium-to-complex cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Finance business partners to define and manage project scope, objectives, test plans and acceptance criteria.

  • Work closely with Finance IT Development and QA teams to promote successful outcomes.

  • Achieve utmost clarity with the definition of User Stories in Rally that wholly represent the business team’s objectives.

  • Function in an Agile, sprint-based project environment

  • Document and execute all User-Acceptance Testing activities and outcomes.

  • Develop and manage communication plan with functional areas regarding active projects including pre-and post-deployment activities.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment to meet all project deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) or Healthcare industry experience.

  • Previous experience with requirements gathering, SDLC & Agile/Scrum methodologies, business process validation and User-Acceptance Testing

  • Ability to create and interpret process documentation including, but not limited to screen mock-ups and system workflows.

  • Above average Microsoft Office skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with overly complex, inter-connected systems and business processes

  • Technical writing skills

  • Experience working with Batch Files

  • Experience working with cloud-based systems.

  • AS400 experience

  • Experience or strong ability to work with SQL, job submission, database libraries.

  • Knowledge of pharmacy claims, claim adjudication and data file transmission.

  • Working knowledge of NCPDP Telecommunication and Post Adjudicated Standards

  • Experience in highly regulated industry and compliance environment

  • Process Improvement experience

Education

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
