Position Summary
The Analyst, Internal Audit will be a key member of the SOC Reporting team within Internal Audit and will participate in the overall issuance of multiple System and Organizational Control (SOC) audits under the SSAE 18 guidance. The group performs oversight and coordination functions, including the facilitation of business process and control documentation, assistance in the identification and clarification of internal controls and coordination with the external auditors on testing and evaluation of key controls defined in the SOC 1 reports. The SOC Reporting team is a part of the SOX and Controls Assurance group which is responsible for the oversight and management of CVS’s Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance program.
This role is responsible for performing SOC activities in conjunction with the preparation of SOC reports covering multiple business areas and systems. This includes the responsibilities the SOC Reporting team performs as described above, as well as acting as a SOC Reporting SME for the reports the Analyst will be directly supporting. In addition, the SOC Reporting Analyst will manage workload independently and may act in a project lead role in various related activities.
Required Qualifications
1+ year or prior experience in an accounting, project management or auditing role or internship position
Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience, including internship experience, working in public accounting, a large corporation and/or related fields (e.g., Health Care, Insurance, etc.)
Professional designations such as CPA, CIA, CISA, measured progress in achieving such designations.
Show strong written and verbal communication skills.
Have experience with Microsoft excel to maintain spreadsheets and perform moderately complex functions.
Good teamwork and collaboration skills
Solid meeting management
Have exposure or experience with the SSAE 18 standards.

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Education
Bachelor's Degree requiredHave a major, minor or concentration relevant to the position. Examples include: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration & Management, General Insurance & Risk Management, and Health Services Administration
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$40,600.00 - $89,300.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
