Position Summary: Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in New York, NY: Lead Decision Scientist to analyze user needs and develop data analytics solutions, including programming/software. Duties include: Consult with internal clients to identify opportunities to implement data science solutions to business problems; act as an analyticsproduct owner translating business needs into analytics projects and actions; structure data analysis, drive analytics insights, and analytical solutions to help data scientists determine the best analytical solution; develop predictive modeling statistical analysis, data reports, mathematicalanalysis methods, machine learning, and performance metrics; perform software development/programming using R, Hadoop, or Python and advanced analytics tools and languages to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources; leverage SQL to quickly perform analyses on large and complex data sets to solve complex business problems and guide data scientists and data engineers on more advanced analyses; presents recommendations to seniorstaff and internal clients; lead client relationship and development of solutions; and mentor junior team members. Multiple openings. - Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureateexperience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: Analytics experience within the retail and/or healthcare industries; Writing clean, high quality, high performing, scalable code; SAS or SQL Programming languages; Machinelearning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling; Programming in R, Hadoop, or Python; and “Big data” platforms including Hadoop (Azure, GCP, or AWS). Any related occupation, such as Software Developer, Software Quality Assurance Analyst and Tester, Computer Systems Engineer/Architect, Computer Systems Analyst, Analytics Consultant, or Lead DataScientist. Pay Range: $163238.00/year to $260000.00/year.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
