Start Date: June 17, 2024Location: This position will be located in Woonsokect, RI and will require 3 days a week onsite in our CVS Health office.Starting Salary: $50,000 - $83,000

Role will be taken down on May 30th, 2024The Junior Designer will generate creative ideas for various brand, advertising and marketing campaigns and initiatives. You will work closely with your design and writing peers to design, develop and edit creative ideas and concepts that are on brand and meet business objectives. Must have the ability to take direction from creative directors, ACDs and senior designers, and work within defined creative guidelines and brand standards. You should also have an ability to work collaboratively in an ever-changing environment to meet aggressive business goals. You will have a basic understanding of design and demonstrate creative problem-solving abilities.This is an entry level role that gives you the opportunity to develop your design skills and learn from some of your amazing Colleagues in Heart Haus, the internal agency within CVS Health.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support, generate and edit creative concepts that deliver and adhere to the brand vision, brand standards and/or campaign themes, while ensuring consistency

  • Bring creative ideas to life across a wide range of assets across paid, earned and owned channels - could include, but not limited to print, signing, email, social media, marketing collateral and digital/web

  • Collaboration with design and writing peers, as well as various internal stakeholders

  • Partner with design peers and implementation to deliver on the brief

  • Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with peers and business partners

  • Support work as assigned by creative director or senior designerRelocation: CVS Health follows a hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. Relocation assistance will not be provided for candidates that need to move over 50 miles.Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

  • Meet educational requirements (see education section)

  • Have a willingness to relocate if needed

  • Entry level or 1-3 years in a design role or similar

  • Understanding of digital marketing & social media platforms is desired

  • Some knowledge of design and creative production process

  • Portfolio link or samples of your work

  • Well organized and able to communicate ideas and solutions to creative problems

  • Ability to understand how individual projects relate to larger campaign strategies

  • Willingness to learn and take creative direction

  • Basic understanding of design production

  • Must thrive in a fast paced and highly collaborative environment

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong team player with enthusiasm, positive attitude

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient on a Mac and with Adobe Creative Suite

  • Proficient with Microsoft OfficeYou must meet the follow qualifications :

  • You should currently be pursuing Bachelors degree­

  • Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2024 and August 2025­

  • Have a major, minor, concentration, or work experience relevant to the position. Examples include: Design, Communications, Fine Arts, or similar

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$40,600.00 - $97,800.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
