DESCRIPTION

As a key member of the PSS Marketing Operations team, the Director of Digital Enablement and Channel Execution plays a pivotal role in translating marketing strategies into impactful outcomes. This position requires a blend of strategic vision, hands-on leadership, and meticulous execution across digital channels. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader, proficient in marketing technologies, and dedicated to driving results aligned with PSS business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Enablement:

  • Develop and articulate the strategic vision for marketing capabilities in digital channels, aligning with the strategic plans of PSS marketing teams and leveraging Enterprise MarTech partnerships.

  • Drive adoption of new capabilities within the marketing organization through effective communication, education and training initiatives.

  • Act as the Product Owner within the PSS business unit for key MarTech platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud), ensuring platform health and maximizing value across the ecosystem.

  • Manage backlogs and project manage technology improvement plans in collaboration with enterprise stakeholders.

  • Track and measure the value generated by digital initiatives to inform future strategies and investments.

Channel Execution:

  • Lead the execution of integrated marketing initiatives across digital channels, prioritizing efficiency and quality in implementation.

  • Forge strong partnerships with vendors for outsourced execution, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and objectives.

  • Allocate resources effectively based on demand from marketing teams, optimizing productivity and output.

  • Establish and maintain QA procedures to mitigate risk and uphold platform integrity.

  • Streamline execution processes to achieve scalability and productivity goals.

  • Define and implement best practices for channel execution, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with Marketing Operations colleagues, as well as partners in planning, creative, and other functional areas.

  • Representation: Serve as the primary liaison between PSS Marketing and Enterprise MarTech initiatives, advocating for the needs and priorities of the organization.

  • Drive adoption by Strategic Marketers: Influence and inspire strategic marketers to leverage digital capabilities effectively in their campaigns and initiatives.

  • Measurement: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the value generated by digital enablement and channel execution efforts, providing insights for ongoing optimization.

  • Data Strategy: Represent PSS Marketing requirements across data and analytics initiatives.

This position will be hybrid with anticipated in office days Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Candidates will be within a reasonable commuting distance to one of the following CVS HUBS: Woonsocket, RI., Hartford, CT, Wellesley, MA., New York, NY or Chicago, IL

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: 10+ years leading B2B and B2C marketing execution and digital marketing technology transformation, preferably in a highly regulated industry (healthcare, financial services).

  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically about marketing technologies and their role in achieving business objectives.

  • Leadership Skills: Experience managing a small team, with a player/coach mentality and a commitment to fostering collaboration and accountability.

  • MarTech Proficiency: Deep understanding of both B2B and B2C MarTech landscapes, with expertise in platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Experience Cloud.

  • Data Orientation:

  • Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure flawless execution of digital campaigns and initiatives.

  • Process-Oriented: Strong focus on process optimization and efficiency, with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Results-Driven: Track record of setting and achieving high standards for execution, delivering measurable value to the organization.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,500.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
