Position Summary The Cell and Gene Therapy Case Manager will be responsible for providing an enhanced level of service to internal and external stakeholders in the cell and gene therapy space. In this highly visible and critical role, the Case Manager will interact with various contacts along the patient journey which may include patients and caregivers, HUB or pharmaceutical manufacturer contacts, healthcare providers and qualified treatment centers. As a member of the Cell and Gene Therapy Care Team, the Case Manager will leverage their knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations to remove barriers to care utilizing critical resources both internally and externally to expeditiously fulfill cell and gene therapy orders. Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of Specialty Pharmacy Operations experience including experience with Specialty therapies and health products.

  • Benefits Verification experience required.

  • Driven to serve as an advocate for patients and their families

  • Deep understanding of pharmacy processes and workflow

  • Experience with prescription drug benefits and major medical billing as well as financial support offerings

  • Ability to communicate complex drug coverage benefits to patients, caregivers and other key stakeholders

  • Superior listening and communication skills with the ability to identify, define and clearly convey drug access issues

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple patient accounts

  • Facilitate cross departmental communication when needed

  • Ability to travel on limited basis (<5%)

Education

High-school diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $35.29

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
