Position SummaryThis is a great opportunity to join our team as a Front End Pharmacy Technician in Mail Operations in Las Vegas, NV! In this role you will assist in accuratelyreading, interpreting and entering prescriptions into the computer system. This includes the calculation of doses, assignment of directions andaccepting proper insurance payment in a timely fashion. To be successful in this role you will need to be an excellent communicator, confidentworking with dual software systems, comfortable interpreting prescriptions for Pharmacist verification and will need prior experience withMicrosoft Office.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm PST (on-site)

In addition to sixteen paid days off for employees, we also offer paid holidays.Required Qualifications• Current Nevada State Board of Pharmacy-Pharmacy Technician License• Three months experience working in a pharmacy• Six months work experience with Windows-based applications like Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications• Six months computer keyboarding skills and aptitude• Must be able to sit or stand for duration of shift (8-10 hours). While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is required to utilize a keyboard and operate departmental machinery.Preferred Qualifications• Prefer six months of work experience as a pharmacy technician • Prefer three months experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone• Prefer Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, and prescriptions• Prefer Medical billing, coding, and other medical assisting roles • Prefer customer service experience in an office environment

• National Pharmacy Technician CertificationEducation

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $28.45

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
