Position Summary

Join Fortune 7 CVS Health as an experienced Infrastructure Systems Architect on our SAP team and take on the reasonability of maintaining, enhancing and further developing our SAP based systems. You will be tasked with designing and developing operation system environments in close collaboration with the SAP BASIS team to ensure the CVS SAP infrastructure platforms operate reliably and efficiently. In this role, you will play a vital part in the continuous improvement and growth of our Linux-based infrastructure.

Design, develop and implement Linux-based infrastructure solutions to meet CVS Health’s operational and business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document hardware operating system requirements. Identify hardware/OS requirements and evaluate potentials solutions to ensure compatibility with CVS business requirements. Conduct research and analysis to identify the latest technology trends that can be applied to enhance the Linux based infrastructure. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of environment operating systems, hardware standards, and best practices. Collaborate with peer groups such as SAP BASIS admins and CVS security teams to ensure the integrity, performance and reliability of Linux and Windows based systems. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure-related issues, including but not limited to performance optimization, system tuning, and capacity planning. Collaborate with the SAP BASIS team to develop and enforce Linux/Windows security policies, procedures, and standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 8-+ years' experience with Linux system administration and related tools, including strong understanding of Linux operating systems (SUSE/RedHat), security controls and security audits.

  • 5+ years’ experience with Linux Operating System Engineering or similar role involving a strong focus on secure OS builds, patching, and updating.

  • 2+ years in Windows system administration and related tools, with strong understanding of system registry and services operation.

  • 2+ years scripting experience in languages such as Python and/or BASH to develop automation tools and enhance frameworks.

  • 2+ years’ experience implementing and managing Ansible and Ansible playbooks.

  • 2+ years cloud-based experience with AZURE or AWS; preferably SAP RISE.

  • 2+ years' experience with SAP / SAP HANA server configuration, preferably ATOS Bull Sequana/Bullion hardware.

  • Experience utilizing Linux based virtualization tools such as SUSE Harvester or RedHat OpenShift.

  • Skilled with configuring and administration of Dell storage arrays.

  • Ability to provide functional, technical and business expertise needed to solve complex and strategic client problems and issues.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM curriculum.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$83,430.00 - $166,900.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
