Position Summary

The value-based solutions teams’ mission is to develop the foundation for and facilitate consistent and successful value-based payment arrangements across our provider network. The scope of work includes value-based contracting processes, workflow design and deployment, communications, and training.

This individual contributor position provides contractual support to network teams engaged with value-based arrangements, working closely with Legal business partners and department leadership, involved in initiative planning, management/oversight for assigned tasks for assigned initiatives that impact the support and delivery of improved processes for all value based contracting product lines.

-Collaborates with team members and / or matrixed staff as required in support of initiatives.

-Accountable for transferring best practices, workflows, and guidance on strategy into functional documentation, including but not limited to job aids, playbooks, and policies.

-Participates as a team member, may be responsible for concurrent initiatives or act as a team lead for less complex projects based on resource requirements.

-Provides additional support to oversee the maintenance and development of new contractual attributes including, but not limited to, quality and efficiency measures that support value-based arrangements.

-Development of presentation material to provide best practices and oversight of contractual material, updates to boilerplates and other related material.

-Interacts with negotiation teams to review value-based contract terms that need to be modified.

-Reviews and provides insight into alternative approaches, coordinate with impacted business units, and provide input on risks to be considered.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years experience leading Projects, Programs, and/or Process Management

  • Management experience related to standards and measurements, technology, systems, and/or processes

  • Proven track record in meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources

-5+ years Healthcare industry experience required, with payer preferred

-Experience with Microsoft suite, including Word, Excel, One Note, Teams, etc.

-Experience creating PowerPoint documentation

Preferred Qualifications

-3+ years experience in contracting/familiarity with contract terms

-Understanding/experience of Value Based Care

-Ability to simplify complex concepts/language

Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 - $174,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
