Position Summary

This position follows a hybrid schedule of three days onsite and two days remote per week located in Cumberland, RI

The Senior Accounting Manager o versees the financial operations and ensures accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. The Sr Manager supports financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis and develops a team that maintains the integrity of financial data, manages accounting processes, and ensures compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

In this role you will:

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of Accounting professionals

  • Design, implement and maintain key controls over Rebate accounting, receipts and payments in conjunction with supporting our Sarbanes Oxley control testing and our internal and external audits.

  • Provide leadership, subject matter expertise and guidance on new business initiatives in the Rebate area. Including evaluation of new contractual agreements / business activities

  • Evaluate key reserves and communicate to Senior Management along with any recommended adjustments as needed.

  • Identify areas where we can improve processes and become more efficient with the staff we have by driving the streamlining and automation of those processes. One example is the automation of booking files.

  • Audits interface with partners, reserves interface with VP’s, Directors etc.

Required Qualifications7+ years of Accounting or Finance experiencePreferred Qualifications

CPA

Masters Degree

Experience working within a large organization in a corporate setting

Public accounting experience

Time management skills – ability to manage multiple concurrent issues

Advanced excel skills

Ability to understand how systems process data

Strong verbal and written communication

Strong accounting skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with others

Demonstrated problem solving ability

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$79,200.00 - $174,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
