Position Summary

  • To act as an account manager for our Healthy Merits wellness program and support Meritain’s Population Health Management strategy. The Population Health Management Consultant provides program design, oversight and consultative support for clients to maximize their wellness and Population Health programs while achieving exceptional program engagement and meeting budgetary goals. In addition, the PHM Consultant is responsible for developing and maintaining mutually rewarding working relationship with client contacts, internal team members and vendor partners to ensure renewal of case and retention.

  • Collaborates with clients, brokers, vendors and team members on Wellness and PHM products strategy and de.

  • Develops and presents short and long term wellness plan designs that address client risk, participation goals and budgetary needs.

  • Maximizes available wellness program campaigns and relationships – within regulatory guidelines.

  • Drives the implementation, communications and success metrics for each client based on the established plan and strategy and PHM product mix.

  • Supports employee communications and engagement both through marketing and onsite meetings.

  • Responsible for client retention and product growth.

  • Works closely with client relations and sales team members to act as a wellness product subject matter expert during the sales process.

  • Manages project initiatives as assigned.

  • Participates in gathering, analyzing and providing input and recommendations regarding product performance assessment.

  • Supports product education and service to internal customers (sales, client relations, marketing, business intelligence, sales support, implementation, operations, et al).

  • Provides SME support in customer selling (may provide customer demonstrations of products).

  • Educates product leadership on key issues and opportunities facing customers relative to managed products.

  • Evaluates wellness trends and identifies areas for product enhancements.

  • Travel to client sites (30% travel)

    Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of industry experience.

  • 3-5 years of experience with corporate wellness programs or advanced knowledge of the health and wellness industry

  • Ability to travel up to 30% nationwide to clients sites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clear communication style and strong collaboration skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to identify processes and organize resources to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Detail oriented when accomplishing a task, demonstrating concern for all areas involved.

  • Ability to deliver presentations at all levels of an organization, to diverse audiences and groups and via multiple modalities including virtually and in-person.

  • Strong customer service skills

    Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
