CVS Health Pharmacy Technician – Clinical Support in Albany, New York

Position Summary

Remote - USA - any stateThe Pharmacy Technician – Clinical Support position is responsible for using their knowledge of pharmacy business and excellent customer service skills to support beneficiaries in the CVS Accountable Care organization. This position will focus on beneficiaries enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans to provide resources and assistance to drive STARS outcomes. This will include outreach providers, pharmacists, case managers and beneficiaries. The Pharmacy Technician – Clinical Support will be required to manage day to day processes, organize their workload, and documenting all relevant interactions. Other duties may also be assigned by the leadership team.

Schedule: 9:00am - 5:30pm ESTRequired Qualifications

  • Certified/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician

  • 3 years of experience with Medicare Advantage

  • Demonstrated excellence in communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to apply basic computer skills.

  • Ability to work independently to solve problems and complete referrals in a timely manner

  • Collaborate with other members of the care team to support the holistic needs of the beneficiary

  • Ability to adapt and change with workflow and shifting priorities

  • You must have a direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 10 feet of your computer and a minimum download speed of 25 mbs download and 3 mbs upload. WiFi and satellite are not permitted.

  • A secure and private home workspace free from distractions is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT)

  • Prior experience in pharmacy call center or patient outreach

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams.

  • Previous experience with Epic or other EMR systems

Education

Verifiable High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $37.02

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
